Hamilton’s of Ortonville, Inc. believes that the sale of aquatic herbicides and algaecides requires responsible product stewardship prior to, during and after the sale. The concept of responsible product stewardship requires the end user to understand the proper product to use for the target plant, when to apply it, how to apply it, what to expect, when to expect it, product and water use restrictions and the proper disposal of the empty product container. It is our belief that this requires, at minimum, research on the local and state laws and hazards of any products they use on ponds and property. For this reason, Hamilton’s of Ortonville, Inc. has made the decision not to offer online sales through our website of chemicals and herbicides.

    For quick results on eliminating floating organic matter on the surface of a pond, Rush is the product for you.
    For best results try to manually remove what floating matter you can reach, and spot treat the remaining problem areas with Rush.

    Stock Tank
    The Healthy Ponds Stock Tank Water Cleaner Refills contain 4 bacteria filled packets.
    The refill packets treat stock tanks up to 300 gallons daily for up to 30 days. Stock Tank Water Cleaner dispensers will be necessary if more than 300 gallons of water are used per day. to change your refill packet every 30 days by exchanging the used packet with a new refill packet.
    Blast
    Blast advances the decomposition of organic matter in ponds and lakes through a proprietary blend of multiple strains and species of beneficial bacteria.

    Sonar Q is the fastest-releasing Sonar pellet in a quick, easy-to-apply formulation that selectively manages undesirable aquatic vegetation for a year or longer.
    Sonar Q has the efficient concentration level of a liquid, but provides for more accurate placement.
    Nutro Turf
    NitroTurf – 1 Gallon (128 ounces) can be used on all turf, from golf courses to lawns.
    Micronutrient and nitrogen transfer at the root level enhances the turf to create more root mass. NitroTuf is made of naturally occurring bacteria, humates, minerals and water. All the ingredients of NitroTurf are materials found on the Natural and Organics List of materials. NitroTurf is recommended for at least two applications per year, depending on the condition of turf and lawn.

    Navigate
    Navigate is an aquatic granular formulation of 2, 4-D. It is remarkably effective on submersed Northern and Eurasian Water milfoil, and Stargrass. It is equally effective on Water lilies and Water Shield. Navigate will translocate into the root systems resulting in long term control.
    Two applications may be required to achieve long term results on Water Lillies. Use a hand scoop or spreader for easy application. No Swimming or Fishing Restriction. We like Naviagte for Lily control. It gives you long lasting control and can offer control of other submersed plants at the same time.
    KILL-ZALL Aquatic
    Non-selective weed and grass killer labeled for use in aquatic and other non-crop sites. Controls annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds plus woody brush species listed on the label.
    Also provides excellent control of Canadian Thistle, Chickweed, Dock, Foxtail, Pigweed, Ragweed and many other plants listed on the label.

    Aquashade
    Get a Jump on Algae and Weed growth Before it Starts! Apply pond dye in early Spring for maximum effectiveness.
    AQUASHADE® is a blend of blue and yellow dyes specifically designed to screen or shade portions of the sunlight spectrum (red-orange and blue-violet) required by underwater aquatic plant and algae growth. This action effectively inhibits photo-synthesis in young, bottom growth and may prevent development altogether if applied early enough in the season.
    KILL-ZALL Regular
    Non-selective weed and grass killer, contains a double-surfactant formulation that dries on plant fast to start working quickly. Multiple use formulation…near fences, in paths, patios, sidewalks, curbs and driveways. Around ornamental trees, shrubs, flower beds and buildings.
    Labeled for lawn renovation, brush and vine control and stump treatment.
    Application Rates: General weed control: 3 tablespoons per gallon. Tough weed control & brush: 5 tablespoons per gallon.
    CIDE-KICK II
    Cide-Kick II–is a wetting agent, sticker, activator and penetrant all in one. Cide-Kick II helps break down the waxy cuticle on the leaf surface and helps penetrate the bud and bark area (of the woody brush), allowing a more effective uptake of the herbicide. Compatible with most aquatic and terrestrial herbicides, insecticides and pesticides.
    Sonar Ready to Use

    Cygnet Blue Dye
    Cygnet Select is an organic water dye that will color the water a deep rich blue. The coloring will remain visible for up to four months under normal conditions, simply pour Cygnet Select along your waters edge and it will self disperse throughout the entire pond. 1 gallon treats 4 acre-feet of water. Cygnet Select is not an herbicide.

    Sonar AS Concentrate
    Sonar will remove unwanted weeds from your lake or pond for a year or longer with a single treatment. No other aquatic herbicide on the planet is more effective on duckweed, period. Unlike other aquatic herbicides, Sonar has no restrictions on water use after application. Swimmers can still swim. Fisherman can still fish. Livestock can still drink. Check the label for irrigation precautions.

    Cattails are a very common problem for ponds and lakes. Catt Plex is a glyphosate based herbicide that eliminates shore and emerged pond weeds to the root. It can also be an effective turf solution for controlling over 1000 troublesome grasses and broadleaf weeds.
    Kills cattails, water lilies and other shore/emerged aquatic weeds to the root.

    Cutrine Plus Algaecide Granular 30#
    Cutrine-Plus is one of the most popular algaecides on the market today. It is a double-chelated copper solution effective against a wide variety of algal species. Due to its double-chelate it stays in the water column longer, and in combination with its greater amount of activity in the plant can be much more effective. Cutrine-Plus is the only chelated copper algaecide that is patented on the market today!
    Cutrine-Plus Granular is a clay based 3.7% absorbed copper in a chelated liquid form. Best for bottom growing algae such as Chara and Nitella.
    Cutrine-Plus Granular is available in 12, and 30 lb packages.
